NEWSKY's Cold Forging Progressive is an impact forming process that deforms a piece of raw material plastically, under high compressive force, between a punch and a die using suitable machine, such as a press under ambient temperature.

 

Compared with other competing technologies, such as machining, die casting, plastic injection molding, and metal injection molding (MIM), cold forging creates product with a higher impact strength, a higher structural integrity, better accuracy while using less material. The process is highly productive and optimal for surface finishing.

 

Cold Forging Progressive is used in a wide range of applications, including components used in the

Automotive, Industrial Product, Oil & Gas, and Mechanical Transmission industries.

NEWSKY's Cold Forging Progressive use servo press and sheet material, Currently limited to materials such as aluminum, copper, low carbon steel material.
